एषशैलैश्शिलाभिश्चपूरयित्वामहार्णवम् । द्वारमाश्रित्यलङ्कायारामस्तिष्ठतिसायुधः ॥ ६-३०-११
"Having filled the great ocean with rocks and stones in that way, taking position at the entrance of Lanka Rama stands equipped with arms. [6-30-11]

गरुडव्यूहमास्थायसर्वतोहरिभिर्वृतः । मांविसृज्यमहातेजालङ्कामेवाभिवर्तते ॥ ६-३०-१२
"O glorious King! After releasing me, Rama is advancing into Lanka surrounded by mountains like a monkey army in the form of Garuda. [6-30-12]
english translation
पुराप्राकारमायातिक्षिप्रमेकतरंकुरु । सीतांवास्मैप्रयच्छाशुयुद्धंवाप्रदीयताम् ॥ ६-३०-१३
"Before Rama reaches the boundary, the wall, do one thing quickly. Either give away Sita or set out to give a good war.'' [6-30-13]

मनसातंतदाप्रेक्ष्यतच्छ्रुत्वाराक्षसाधिपः । शार्दूलंसुमहद्वाक्यमथोवाचसरावणः ॥ ६-३०-१४

यदिमांप्रतियुध्येरन्देवगन्धर्वदानवाः । नैवसीतांप्रदास्यामिसर्वलोकभयादपि ॥ ६-३०-१५
"Even if Devas, Gandharvas and Danavas come to wage war with me and even if I have threats from all worlds, I will not give away Sita." [6-30-15]
