करेणुभिर वारणैश च परभिन्नकरटा मुखैः सरॊ ऽवगाढैः करीडद्भिः समन्ताद अनुनादितम ॥ ३-९८-१५ ॥

'Meanwhile, elephants, with juice trickling from their torn temples, plunged into the stream, sporting with the she-elephants and filling the entire region with the echoes of their joyful roars.' ॥ 3-98-15 ॥

english translation

kareNubhira vAraNaiza ca parabhinnakaraTA mukhaiH sarò 'vagADhaiH karIDadbhiH samantAda anunAditama ॥ 3-98-15 ॥
