करेणुभिर वारणैश च परभिन्नकरटा मुखैः सरॊ ऽवगाढैः करीडद्भिः समन्ताद अनुनादितम ।। ३-९८-१५ ।।

'Meanwhile, elephants, with juice trickling from their torn temples, plunged into the stream, sporting with the she-elephants and filling the entire region with the echoes of their joyful roars.' ।। 3-98-15 ।।

english translation

kareNubhira vAraNaiza ca parabhinnakaraTA mukhaiH sarò 'vagADhaiH karIDadbhiH samantAda anunAditama || 3-98-15 ||
