एवम उक्तः स मुनिना महीपालॊ विचेतनः परत्याख्यानाय चाशक्तः परदातुम अपि नैच्छत ॥ ३-९५-३ ॥

sanskrit

'Thus addressed by the sage, the king of the Vidarbhas fainted. Though he was reluctant to give his daughter Lopamudra to the Muni, he felt unable to refuse his request.' ॥ 3-95-3 ॥

english translation

evama uktaH sa muninA mahIpAlò vicetanaH paratyAkhyAnAya cAzaktaH paradAtuma api naicchata ॥ 3-95-3 ॥
