तत्र वै दक्षिणा काले बरह्मघॊषॊ दिवं गतः न सम परज्ञायते किं चिद बरह्म शब्देन भारत ॥ ३-९३-२१ ॥
'During the conclusion of each sacrifice, when gifts were bestowed upon the Brahmanas, the chanting of the Vedas rose to the heavens. So powerful was the sound of the Vedic mantras, O Bharata, that nothing else could be heard.' ॥ 3-93-21 ॥
english translation
पुण्येन चरता राजन भूर दिशः खं नभस तथा आपूर्णम आसीच छब्देन तद अप्य आसीन महाद्भुतम ॥ ३-९३-२२ ॥
'O king, sacred sounds filled the earth, the horizons, the sky, and even the heavens themselves. These were the remarkable wonders witnessed on those occasions.' ॥ 3-93-22 ॥
english translation
तत्र सम गाथा गायन्ति मनुष्या भरतर्षभ अन्नपानैः शुभैस तृप्ता देशे देशे सुवर्चसः ॥ ३-९३-२३ ॥
'Satisfied with the excellent food and drinks provided by the illustrious Gaya, people, O bull of the Bharata race, roamed about reciting these verses in praise.' ॥ 3-93-23 ॥
english translation
गयस्य यज्ञे के तव अद्य पराणिनॊ भॊक्तुम ईप्सवः यत्र भॊजनशिष्टस्य पर्वताः पञ्चविंशतिः ॥ ३-९३-२४ ॥
'In Gaya's great sacrifice, who among all beings still desires to eat? Even after all have been fed, there remain twenty-five mountains of food!' ॥ 3-93-24 ॥
english translation
न सम पूर्वे जनाश चक्रुर न करिष्यन्ति चापरे गयॊ यद अकरॊद यज्ञे राजर्षिर अमितद्युतिः ॥ ३-९३-२५ ॥
'What the illustrious royal sage Gaya has accomplished in his sacrifice is unparalleled—nothing like it has ever been achieved by mortals, nor will it be in the future.' ॥ 3-93-25 ॥
