[व] ते तथा सहिता वीरा वसन्तस तत्र तत्र ह करमेण पृथिवीपाल नैमिषारण्यम आगताः ॥ ३-९३-१ ॥
'Vaisampayana said, "The valiant sons of Pandu, accompanied by their followers, traveled from place to place until they finally arrived at Naimisha."' ॥ 3-93-1 ॥
english translation
ततस तीर्थेषु पुण्येषु गॊमत्याः पाण्डवा नृप कृताभिषेकाः परददुर गाश च वित्तं च भारत ॥ ३-९३-२ ॥
'Upon reaching the sacred Gomati River, the Pandavas bathed in its holy waters. After completing their ablutions, they generously bestowed both cattle and wealth, O Bharata.' ॥ 3-93-2 ॥
english translation
तत्र देवान पितॄन विप्रांस तर्पयित्वा पुनः पुनः कन्या तीर्थे ऽशवतीर्थे च गवां तीर्थे च कौरवाः ॥ ३-९३-३ ॥
'There, having repeatedly gratified the gods, the ancestors, and the Brahmins, The Kauravas (performed ceremonies) at the maiden's sacred place, the horse's sacred place, and the cow's sacred place.' ॥ 3-93-3 ॥
english translation
वालकॊट्यां वृषप्रस्थे गिराव उष्य च पाण्डवाः बाहुदायां महीपाल चक्रुः सर्वे ऽभिषेचनम ॥ ३-९३-४ ॥
'Residing as instructed in Kalakoti and the Vishaprastha hills, the Kauravas, O king, subsequently reached Vahuda and performed their ablutions in that stream.' ॥ 3-93-4 ॥
english translation
परयागे देवयजने देवानां पृथिवीपते ऊषुर आप्लुत्य गात्राणि तपश चातस्थुर उत्तमम ॥ ३-९३-५ ॥
'Next, O lord of the earth, they journeyed to the sacred sacrificial site known as Prayaga, where the Ganga and Yamuna converge. There, they bathed in the holy waters and, taking up residence, engaged in great ascetic penances that yielded immense merit.' ॥ 3-93-5 ॥
