यजमानस्य वै देवाञ जमदग्नेर महात्मनः आगम्य सरितः सर्वा मधुना समतर्पयन ॥ ३-८८-१६ ॥
'The rivers, arriving at the illustrious Jamadagni during the sacrifice to the gods, pleased the Brahmanas with offerings of honey.' ॥ 3-88-16 ॥
english translation
गन्धर्वयक्षरक्षॊभिर अप्सरॊभिश च शॊभितम किरात किंनरावासं शैलं शिखरिणां वरम ॥ ३-८८-१७ ॥
'O Yudhishthira, the place where the Ganga rushes past, cutting through the foremost of mountains frequented by Gandharvas, Yakshas, Rakshasas, and Apsaras, and inhabited by hunters and Kinnaras, is known as Gangadwara.' ॥ 3-88-17 ॥

बिभेद तरसा गङ्गा गङ्गा दवारे युधिष्ठिर पुण्यं तत खयायते राजन बरह्मर्षिगणसेवितम ॥ ३-८८-१८ ॥
'O king, Sanatkumara considers that place, frequented by Brahmarshis, as well as the nearby tirtha Kanakhala, to be sacred.' ॥ 3-88-18 ॥

सनत कुमारः कौरव्य पुण्यं कनखलं तथा पर्वतश च पुरुर नाम यत्र जातः पुरूरवः ॥ ३-८८-१९ ॥
'There also stands the mountain named Puru, frequented by great Rishis, where Pururavas was born.' ॥ 3-88-19 ॥

भृगुर यत्र तपस तेपे महर्षिगणसेवितः स राजन्न आश्रमः खयातॊ भृगुतुङ्गॊ महागिरिः ॥ ३-८८-२० ॥
'Here, O king, is the renowned ashrama of Bhrigu, the great mountain that is served by a host of great sages, where Bhrigu performed his penance.' ॥ 3-88-20 ॥
