ऋषिर महान महाभागॊ जमदग्निर महायशाः पलाशकेषु पुण्येषु रम्येष्व अयजताभिभूः ॥ ३-८८-१३ ॥

sanskrit

'And that is why this place is considered so profoundly sacred. Here also lies Palasaka, where the great and illustrious sage Jamadagni, blessed with exceptional fortune, performed his sacrifices.' ॥ 3-88-13 ॥

english translation

RSira mahAna mahAbhAgò jamadagnira mahAyazAH palAzakeSu puNyeSu ramyeSva ayajatAbhibhUH ॥ 3-88-13 ॥
