बह्वाश्चर्यं महाराज दृश्यते तत्र पर्वते पुण्ये सवर्गॊपमे दिव्ये नित्यं देवर्षिसेविते ॥ ३-८७-६ ॥
'Numerous wonders can be found on that sacred mountain, which resembles heaven itself and is visited by celestial Rishis, O mighty monarch.' ॥ 3-87-6 ॥

bahvAzcaryaM mahArAja dRzyate tatra parvate puNye savargòpame divye nityaM devarSisevite ॥ 3-87-6 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptहरदिनी पुण्यतीर्था च राजर्षेस तत्र वै सरित विश्वा मित्र नदी पारा पुण्या परपुरंजय ॥ ३-८७-७ ॥
'There, O subjugator of hostile cities, flows the sacred river Viswamitra, named after the royal sage, which is abundant, O king, in numerous sacred tirthas.' ॥ 3-87-7 ॥

haradinI puNyatIrthA ca rAjarSesa tatra vai sarita vizvA mitra nadI pArA puNyA parapuraMjaya ॥ 3-87-7 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयस्यास तीरे सतां मध्ये ययातिर नहुषात्मजः पपात स पुनर लॊकाँल लेभे धर्मान सनातनान ॥ ३-८७-८ ॥
'It was on the banks of this river that Yayati, the son of Nahusha, descended among the virtuous and regained the eternal realms of the righteous.' ॥ 3-87-8 ॥

yasyAsa tIre satAM madhye yayAtira nahuSAtmajaH papAta sa punara lòkA~la lebhe dharmAna sanAtanAna ॥ 3-87-8 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत्र पुण्यह्रदस तात मैनाकश चैव पर्वतः बहुमूलफलॊ वीर असितॊ नाम पर्वतः ॥ ३-८७-९ ॥
'Here, too, are the renowned lake named Punya, the mountain called Mainaka, and the other mountain named Asita, abundant with fruits and roots.' ॥ 3-87-9 ॥

tatra puNyahradasa tAta mainAkaza caiva parvataH bahumUlaphalò vIra asitò nAma parvataH ॥ 3-87-9 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआश्रमः कक्षसेनस्य पुण्यस तत्र युधिष्ठिर चयवनस्याश्रमश चैव खयातः सर्वत्र पाण्डव तत्राल्पेनैव सिध्यन्ति मानवास तपसा विभॊ ॥ ३-८७-१० ॥
'And here, too, is the sacred asylum of Kakshasena, along with the renowned hermitage of Chyavana, O Yudhishthira, famous throughout every land, O son of Pandu! In this place, O exalted one, individuals achieve success in their ascetic practices without the need for severe austerities.' ॥ 3-87-10 ॥

AzramaH kakSasenasya puNyasa tatra yudhiSThira cayavanasyAzramaza caiva khayAtaH sarvatra pANDava tatrAlpenaiva sidhyanti mAnavAsa tapasA vibhò ॥ 3-87-10 ॥
