यथा च वृत्रहा सर्वान सपत्नान निर्दहत पुरा तथा शत्रुक्षयं कृत्वा परजास तवं पालयिष्यसि ॥ ३-८३-१११ ॥
'Just as the slayer of Vritra ruled the three worlds in days of yore, free from anxiety after vanquishing all his foes, so too shall you govern your subjects after defeating all your enemies.' ॥ 3-83-111 ॥
english translation
सवधर्मविजिताम उर्वीं पराप्य राजीवलॊचन खयातिं यास्यसि धर्मेण कार्तवीर्यार्जुनॊ यथा ॥ ३-८३-११२ ॥
'And, O lotus-eyed one, having conquered the earth in accordance with your order's customs, you shall gain renown for your virtue, just as Kartavirya Arjuna did.' ॥ 3-83-112 ॥

[व] एवम आश्वास्य राजानं नारदॊ भगवान ऋषिः अनुज्ञाप्य महात्मानं तत्रैवान्तरधीयत ॥ ३-८३-११३ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued, 'O great king, having reassured the monarch in this manner, the illustrious sage Narada bid farewell and vanished from sight.' ॥ 3-83-113 ॥

युधिष्ठिरॊ ऽपि धर्मात्मा तम एवार्थं विचिन्तयन तीर्थयात्राश्रयं पुण्यम ऋषीणां परत्यवेदयत ॥ ३-८३-११४ ॥
'Reflecting on these matters, the virtuous Yudhishthira began to recount the merits of the tirthas to the ascetics.' ॥ 3-83-114 ॥
