गत्वा मधु वटीं चापि देव्यास तीर्थं नरः शुचिः तत्र सनात्वार्चयेद देवान पितॄंश च परयतः शुचिः स देव्या समनुज्ञातॊ गॊसहस्रफलं लभेत ॥ ३-८१-७९ ॥

sanskrit

'Next, by proceeding to the Devi tirtha in Madhuvati, one who bathes there and worships the gods and the Pitris receives, at the behest of the Goddess, the merit of donating a thousand cows.' ॥ 3-81-79 ॥

english translation

gatvA madhu vaTIM cApi devyAsa tIrthaM naraH zuciH tatra sanAtvArcayeda devAna pitRRMza ca parayataH zuciH sa devyA samanujJAtò gòsahasraphalaM labheta ॥ 3-81-79 ॥
