यथा च वेदान सावित्री याज्ञसेनी तथा सती न जहौ धर्मतः पार्थान मेरुम अर्कप्रभा यथा ।। ३-८०-४ ।।

sanskrit

'And Yajnaseni, in her adherence to righteousness, remained devoted to her lords, the sons of Pritha, much like Savitri clings to the Vedas or the rays of the Sun cling to the peak of Meru.' ।। 3-80-4 ।।

english translation

yathA ca vedAna sAvitrI yAjJasenI tathA satI na jahau dharmataH pArthAna meruma arkaprabhA yathA || 3-80-4 ||
