तेनेन्द्र समवीर्येण संग्रामेष्व अनिवर्तिना विना भूता वने वीराः कथम आसन पिता महाः ।। ३-७९-३ ।।

sanskrit

'How did my heroic ancestors spend their time in the forest, deprived of the company of that hero, who resembled Indra himself in prowess and never faltered in battle?' ।। 3-79-3 ।।

english translation

tenendra samavIryeNa saMgrAmeSva anivartinA vinA bhUtA vane vIrAH kathama Asana pitA mahAH || 3-79-3 ||
