दमयन्त्य उवाच न माम अर्हसि कल्याण पापेन परिशङ्कितुम मया हि देवान उत्सृज्य वृतस तवं निषधाधिप ॥ ३-७५-१ ॥
'O blessed one, it is not fitting for you to suspect any fault in me. O ruler of the Nishadhas, I choose you as my lord, surpassing even the celestial beings.' ॥ 3-75-1 ॥
