सत्यं शरेष्ठं पाण्डव निष्प्रलापं; तुल्यं चान्नं सह भॊज्यं सहायैः आत्मा चैषाम अग्रतॊ नातिवर्तेद; एवंवृत्तिर वर्धते भूमिपालः ॥ ३-६-२१ ॥
'And, O Pandava, divide your prosperity with your supporters, treat them truthfully, and converse with them pleasantly. Share your food with them and refrain from boasting in their presence. Such conduct enhances the prosperity of kings.' ॥ 3-6-21 ॥
english translation
[य] एवं करिष्यामि यथा बरवीषि; परां बुद्धिम उपगम्याप्रमत्तः यच चाप्य अन्यद देशकालॊपपन्नं; तद वै वाच्यं तत करिष्यामि कृत्स्नम ॥ ३-६-२२ ॥
'Yudhishthira replied, "Guided by such wise counsel and free from passion, I shall follow your advice. Whatever further guidance you may offer regarding time and place, I will diligently adhere to it."' ॥ 3-6-22 ॥
