यमस तव अन्नरसं परादाद धर्मे च परमां सथितिम अपां पतिर अपां भावं यत्र वाञ्छति नैषधः ॥ ३-५४-३१ ॥
'Yama bestowed upon him the exquisite savor of food and the foremost position in righteousness. The lord of waters granted Nala his own divine presence whenever he wished, along with garlands imbued with celestial fragrance.' ॥ 3-54-31 ॥
english translation
yamasa tava annarasaM parAdAda dharme ca paramAM sathitima apAM patira apAM bhAvaM yatra vAJchati naiSadhaH ॥ 3-54-31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसरजं चॊत्तमगन्धाढ्यां सर्वे च मिथुनं ददुः वरान एवं परदायास्य देवास ते तरिदिवं गताः ॥ ३-५४-३२ ॥
'All ॥ the gods॥ gave a garland rich with the finest fragrance, and each gave a pair ॥ of children॥. Having granted these boons to him, those gods returned to the heavens.' ॥ 3-54-32 ॥
english translation
sarajaM còttamagandhADhyAM sarve ca mithunaM daduH varAna evaM paradAyAsya devAsa te taridivaM gatAH ॥ 3-54-32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपार्थिवाश चानुभूयास्य विवाहं विस्मयान्विताः दमयन्त्याः परमुदिताः परतिजग्मुर यथागतम ॥ ३-५४-३३ ॥
'And after the departure of those mighty monarchs, the noble Bhima, filled with joy, celebrated the wedding of Nala and Damayanti. After staying there for a while, as per his wishes, Naishadha, the greatest of men, returned to his own city with Bhima's blessing.' ॥ 3-54-33 ॥

pArthivAza cAnubhUyAsya vivAhaM vismayAnvitAH damayantyAH paramuditAH paratijagmura yathAgatama ॥ 3-54-33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअवाप्य नारीरत्नं तत पुण्यश्लॊकॊ ऽपि पार्थिवः रेमे सह तया राजा शच्येव बलवृत्रहा ॥ ३-५४-३४ ॥
'And having attained that precious gem of a woman, the virtuous king, O monarch, began to spend his days in bliss, like the slayer of Vala and Vritra, reveling in the company of Shachi.' ॥ 3-54-34 ॥

avApya nArIratnaM tata puNyazlòkò 'pi pArthivaH reme saha tayA rAjA zacyeva balavRtrahA ॥ 3-54-34 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअतीव मुदितॊ राजा भराजमानॊ ऽंशुमान इव अरञ्जयत परजा वीरॊ धर्मेण परिपालयन ॥ ३-५४-३५ ॥
'Radiant like the sun, the joyful king ruled his subjects with righteousness, bringing them immense satisfaction and delight.' ॥ 3-54-35 ॥
