भवतॊ दयूतदॊषेण सर्वे वयम उपप्लुताः अहीन पौरुषा राजन बलिभिर बलवत्तमाः ॥ ३-४९-१२ ॥

'Endowed with manliness, we are nonetheless overwhelmed by calamities due to your gambling vice, while the foolish sons of Dhritarashtra grow stronger from the tributes gathered from the dependent kings.' ॥ 3-49-12 ॥

bhavatò dayUtadòSeNa sarve vayama upaplutAH ahIna pauruSA rAjana balibhira balavattamAH ॥ 3-49-12 ॥
