सवैरम उक्ता अपि शराः पार्थेनामित तेजसा निर्दहेयुर मम सुतान किं पुनर मन्युनेरिताः ॥ ३-४६-३६ ॥
'The arrows that Arjuna, of immeasurable prowess, may casually shoot are capable of consuming all my sons; how much more so those arrows propelled by his anger!' ॥ 3-46-36 ॥
english translation
पार्थ बाहुबलॊत्सृष्टा महाचाप विनिःसृताः दिव्यास्त्रमन्त्रमुदिताः सादयेयुः सुरान अपि ॥ ३-४६-३७ ॥
'The arrows propelled by the strength of Arjuna's arms, shot from his great bow and imbued with mantras that transform them into celestial weapons, can indeed chastise the very gods themselves.' ॥ 3-46-37 ॥
english translation
यस्य मन्त्री च गॊप्ता च सुहृच चैव जनार्दनः हरिस तरैलॊक्यनाथः स किं नु तस्य न निर्जितम ॥ ३-४६-३८ ॥
'He who has for his counselor, protector, and friend that smiter of sinful beings—Hari, the lord of the three worlds—encounters nothing he cannot conquer.' ॥ 3-46-38 ॥
english translation
इदं च सुमहच चित्रम अर्जुनस्येह संजय महादेवेन बाहुभ्यां यत समेत इति शरुतिः ॥ ३-४६-३९ ॥
'This, O Sanjaya, is truly marvelous about Arjuna—that, as we have heard, he has been embraced by Mahadeva himself.' ॥ 3-46-39 ॥
english translation
परत्यक्षं सर्वलॊकस्य खाण्डवे यत्कृतं पुरा फल्गुनेन सहायार्थे वह्नेर दामॊदरेण च ॥ ३-४६-४० ॥
'That which Phalguna, aided by Damodara, accomplished in the past to assist Agni during the conflagration of Khandava has been witnessed by all the worlds.' ॥ 3-46-40 ॥
