तृतीयम अपि मासं स पक्षेणाहारम आचरन शीर्णं च पतितं भूमौ पर्णं समुपयुक्तवान ॥ ३-३९-२२ ॥

'In the third month, he followed the same regimen, eating only the withered leaves that had fallen on the ground.' ।। 3-39-22 ।।
