चरन्तॊ मृगयां नित्यं शुद्धैर बाणैर मृगार्थिनः पितृदैवतविप्रेभ्यॊ निर्वपन्तॊ यथाविधि ॥ ३-३७-४१ ॥

sanskrit

'They roamed the forest daily in search of deer, armed with pure arrows, and duly performed all the rites in honor of the Pitris, the celestials, and the Brahmanas.' ॥ 3-37-41 ॥

english translation

carantò mRgayAM nityaM zuddhaira bANaira mRgArthinaH pitRdaivataviprebhyò nirvapantò yathAvidhi ॥ 3-37-41 ॥
