यॊ न यातयते वैरम अल्पसत्त्वॊद्यमः पुमान अफलं तस्य जन्माहं मन्ये दुर्जात जायिनः ।। ३-३६-८ ।।

sanskrit

'A man who, lacking strength and courage, does not chastise his enemies lives in vain and is considered low-born.' ।। 3-36-8 ।।

english translation

yò na yAtayate vairama alpasattvòdyamaH pumAna aphalaM tasya janmAhaM manye durjAta jAyinaH || 3-36-8 ||
