परतिषिद्धा हि ते याच्ञा यया सिध्यति वै दविजः तेजसैवार्थ लिप्सायां यतस्व पुरुषर्षभ ॥ ३-३४-४९ ॥
'In your case, O king, begging, though effective for Brahmanas, is not permitted. Therefore, O foremost among men, strive to acquire wealth through your own efforts and vigor.' ॥ 3-34-49 ॥
