इष्टापूर्तफलं न सयान न शिष्यॊ न गुरुर भवेत पुरुषः कर्म साध्येषु सयाच चेद अयम अकारणम ॥ ३-३३-२८ ॥

'If individuals were not the cause of their own actions, sacrifices would yield no results, and there would be no such distinctions as disciples or masters.' ॥ 3-33-28 ॥

iSTApUrtaphalaM na sayAna na ziSyò na gurura bhaveta puruSaH karma sAdhyeSu sayAca ceda ayama akAraNama ॥ 3-33-28 ॥
