नाहं धर्मफलान्वेषी राजपुत्रि चराम्य उत ददामि देयम इत्य एव यजे यष्टव्यम इत्य उत ।। ३-३२-२ ।।

sanskrit

'However, you speak in terms of atheism. O princess, I do not act with a desire for the fruits of my actions. I give because it is my duty to give; I perform sacrifices because it is my duty to sacrifice.' ।। 3-32-2 ।।

english translation

nAhaM dharmaphalAnveSI rAjaputri carAmya uta dadAmi deyama itya eva yaje yaSTavyama itya uta || 3-32-2 ||
