अज्ञॊ जन्तुर अनीशॊ ऽयम आत्मनः सुखदुःखयॊः ईश्वर परेरितॊ गच्छेत सवर्गं नरकम एव च ॥ ३-३१-२७ ॥
'Enveloped in ignorance, creatures are not masters of their own fortune or misfortune. Guided by the will of the Divine, they are led to either heaven or hell.' ॥ 3-31-27 ॥
