यस्मात तु लॊके दृश्यन्ते कषमिणः पृथिवीसमाः तस्माज जन्म च भूतानां भवश च परतिपद्यते ॥ ३-३०-३१ ॥

'Because there are men in the world who are forgiving like the Earth, it is for this reason that creatures derive their life and prosperity.' ॥ 3-30-31 ॥

english translation

कषन्तव्यं पुरुषेणेह सर्वास्व आपत्सु शॊभने कषमा भवॊ हि भूतानां जन्म चैव परकीर्तितम ॥ ३-३०-३२ ॥

'O beautiful one, one should forgive under every injury. It has been said that the continuation of life and prosperity is due to human forgiveness.' ॥ 3-30-32 ॥

english translation

आक्रुष्टस ताडितः करुद्धः कषमते यॊ बलीयसा यश च नित्यं जितक्रॊधॊ विद्वान उत्तमपूरुषः ॥ ३-३०-३३ ॥

'He is indeed a wise and virtuous person who has conquered his wrath and shows forgiveness even when insulted, oppressed, or provoked by a strong individual.' ॥ 3-30-33 ॥

english translation

परभाववान अपि नरस तस्य लॊकाः सनातनाः करॊधनस तव अल्पविज्ञानः परेत्य चेह च नश्यति ॥ ३-३०-३४ ॥

'A person of great influence attains the eternal worlds, But an angry one with little knowledge perishes both here and in the hereafter.' ॥ 3-30-34 ॥

english translation

अत्राप्य उदाहरन्तीमा गाथा नित्यं कषमावताम गीताः कषमावता कृष्णे काश्यपेन महात्मना ॥ ३-३०-३५ ॥

'O Krishna, the illustrious and forgiving Kashyapa has sung the following verses in honor of those who are ever forgiving:' ॥ 3-30-35 ॥
