करॊधं तयक्त्वा तु पुरुषः सम्यक तेजॊ ऽभिपद्यते कालयुक्तं महाप्राज्ञे करुद्धैस तेजः सुदुःसहम ॥ ३-३०-२१ ॥
'By forsaking anger, a man can truly harness his energy. However, O wise one, it is exceedingly difficult for an angry man to channel his energy effectively at the right time.' ॥ 3-30-21 ॥
english translation
करॊधस तव अपण्डितैः शश्वत तेज इत्य अभिधीयते रजस तल लॊकनाशाय विहितं मानुषान परति ॥ ३-३०-२२ ॥
'The ignorant often equate anger with true strength. However, wrath is actually a force for the destruction of the world.' ॥ 3-30-22 ॥
english translation
तस्माच छश्वत तयजेत करॊधं पुरुषः सम्यग आचरन शरेयान सवधर्मानपगॊ न करुद्ध इति निश्चितम ॥ ३-३०-२३ ॥
'Therefore, anyone who wishes to act properly must consistently forsake anger. Even one who has abandoned the excellent virtues of his own order is certain to indulge in wrath if he does not behave properly.' ॥ 3-30-23 ॥
english translation
यदि सर्वम अबुद्धीनाम अतिक्रान्तम अमेधसाम अतिक्रमॊ मद्विधस्य कथं सवित सयाद अनिन्दिते ॥ ३-३०-२४ ॥
'If everything has been transgressed by the unwise and unintelligent, How could there be transgression for one like me, O blameless one?' ॥ 3-30-24 ॥
english translation
यदि न सयुर मनुष्येषु कषमिणः पृथिवीसमाः न सयात संधिर मनुष्याणां करॊधमूलॊ हि विग्रहः ॥ ३-३०-२५ ॥
'If there were no individuals among men who possess the forbearance of the earth, there would be no peace, only ongoing strife driven by wrath.' ॥ 3-30-25 ॥
