अथाब्रवीन महाबाहुर भीमसेनॊ महाबलः राजानं बलिनां शरेष्ठॊ गिरा संपरिहर्षयन ॥ ३-२९९-२१ ॥
'Then Bhimasena, the mighty-armed and foremost among the strong, endowed with great power, spoke these encouraging words to the king.' ॥ 3-299-21 ॥

athAbravIna mahAbAhura bhImasenò mahAbalaH rAjAnaM balinAM zareSThò girA saMpariharSayana ॥ 3-299-21 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअवेक्षया महाराज तव गाण्डीवधन्वना धर्मानुगतया बुद्ध्या न किं चित साहसं कृतम ॥ ३-२९९-२२ ॥
'Looking up to thy face for permission, the wielder of the Gandiva, acting in accordance with his duty, hath not yet, O king, displayed any rashness.' ॥ 3-299-22 ॥
english translation
avekSayA mahArAja tava gANDIvadhanvanA dharmAnugatayA buddhyA na kiM cita sAhasaM kRtama ॥ 3-299-22 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसहदेवॊ मया नित्यं नकुलश च निवारितौ शक्तौ विध्वंसने तेषां शत्रुघ्नौ भीमविक्रमौ ॥ ३-२९९-२३ ॥
'Though Nakula and Sahadeva, mighty in prowess, are fully capable of destroying our foes, I have always restrained them.' ॥ 3-299-23 ॥

sahadevò mayA nityaM nakulaza ca nivAritau zaktau vidhvaMsane teSAM zatrughnau bhImavikramau ॥ 3-299-23 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन वयं तत परहास्यामॊ यस्मिन यॊक्ष्यति नॊ भवान भवान विधत्तां तत सर्वं कषिप्रं जेष्यामहे परान ॥ ३-२९९-२४ ॥
'We shall never waver from whatever task you set before us. Command us, O king, and we will swiftly conquer our enemies!' ॥ 3-299-24 ॥

na vayaM tata parahAsyAmò yasmina yòkSyati nò bhavAna bhavAna vidhattAM tata sarvaM kaSipraM jeSyAmahe parAna ॥ 3-299-24 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइत्य उक्ते भिमसेनेन बराह्मणाः परमाशिर अः परयुज्यापृच्छ्य भरतान यथा सवान सवान ययुर गृहान ॥ ३-२९९-२५ ॥
'When Bhimasena had spoken thus, the Brahmanas blessed the Bharatas and, having obtained their permission, retired to their respective quarters.' ॥ 3-299-25 ॥

itya ukte bhimasenena barAhmaNAH paramAzira aH parayujyApRcchya bharatAna yathA savAna savAna yayura gRhAna ॥ 3-299-25 ॥
