[य] आनृशंस्य परॊ धर्मः परमार्थाच च मे मतम आनृशंस्यं चिकीर्षामि नकुलॊ यक्ष जीवतु ॥ ३-२९७-७१ ॥

'Yudhishthira said: “If virtue is forsaken, the one who abandons it is himself destroyed. For virtue protects him who upholds it. Therefore, I never abandon virtue—lest it abandon me. Non-injury (anṛśaṁsya) is the highest form of righteousness, even greater, I believe, than the highest material gain. I strive to uphold that virtue. Therefore, O Yaksha, let Nakula be restored to life!”' ॥ 3-297-71 ॥
