'Having thus mourned deeply and at length, the virtuous Yudhishthira, son of Dharma, at last restrained his grief and turned his mind to reflection—seeking to discover who could have slain such heroes. “There are no wounds from weapons upon their bodies,” he thought, “nor is there any sign of another’s footsteps nearby. Surely, some mighty being must be behind this—by whom my brothers have been struck down. Let me ponder this carefully with a steady mind… or perhaps I shall drink of the water first, and then all will be revealed to me.”' ।। 3-297-4 ।।
