सूतस तव अधिरथः पुत्रं विवृद्धं समये ततः दृष्ट्वा परस्थापयाम आस पुरं वारणसाह्वयम ॥ ३-२९३-१५ ॥
'And when, in the course of time, Adhiratha saw that the boy had come of age, he sent him to the city named after the elephant (Hastinapura).' ॥ 3-293-15 ॥
