इयं बरह्मन मम सुता बाला सुखविवर्धिता अपराध्येत यत किं चिन न तत कार्यं हृदि तवया ॥ ३-२८८-१३ ॥
'This daughter of mine, O Brahmana, is of tender age and has been brought up in comfort. Should she, at any time, happen to transgress, I pray thee, do not take it to heart.' ॥ 3-288-13 ॥
