[कर्ण] भगवन्तम अहं भक्तॊ यथा मां वेत्थ गॊपते तथा परमतिग्मांशॊ नान्यं देवं कथं चन ॥ ३-२८६-१ ॥
'Karna said: O lord of splendour, as you know me to be your devoted worshipper, so too you know that there is nothing I would hesitate to give away in charity, O blazing one!' ॥ 3-286-1 ॥
