[यम] उदहृतं ते वचनं यद अङ्गने; शुभे न तादृक तवदृते मया शरुतम अनेन तुष्टॊ ऽसमि विनास्य जीवितं; वरं चतुर्थं वरयस्व गच्छ च ॥ ३-२८१-४३ ॥

sanskrit

'And hearing these words, Yama said, 'The words that thou utterest, O fair lady, I have not heard from any one save thee; I am highly pleased with this speech of thine. Except the life of Satyavan, solicit thou, therefore, a fourth boon, and then go thy way!'' ॥ 3-281-43 ॥

english translation

[yama] udahRtaM te vacanaM yada aGgane; zubhe na tAdRka tavadRte mayA zarutama anena tuSTò 'sami vinAsya jIvitaM; varaM caturthaM varayasva gaccha ca ॥ 3-281-43 ॥
