पलाशषण्डे चैतस्मिन पन्था वयावर्तते दविधा तस्यॊत्तरेण यः पन्थास तेन गच्छ तवरस्व च सवस्थॊ ऽसमि बलवान अस्मि दिदृक्षुः पितराव उभौ ॥ ३-२८१-१०७ ॥
'Near the area overgrown with Palasa trees, the path divides into two. Take the northern route swiftly. I am well now and have regained my strength. I long to see my father and mother!' ॥ 3-281-107 ॥
