गुर्व अग्निहॊत्रार्थ कृते परस्थितश च सुतस तव न निवार्यॊ निवार्यः सयाद अन्यथा परस्थितॊ वनम ॥ ३-२८०-२५ ॥
'Thy son goes forth for the sake of the sacrificial fire and in service of his revered elders. Therefore, he ought not to be restrained. Indeed, he might be dissuaded if his journey to the forest were for any other purpose. So I beseech you—do not prevent me from accompanying him.' ॥ 3-280-25 ॥
