स ताड्यमानः परहसन भक्षयाम आस वानरान पनसं च गवाक्षं च वज्रबाहुं च वानरम ।। ३-२७१-४ ।।

sanskrit

'And they soon overwhelmed the chief of the Rakshasas with a shower of terrible and varied weapons. Despite this, Kumbhakarna merely laughed at them and began to devour the monkeys. He consumed the foremost of them, known by the names Chala, Chandachala, and Vajravahu.' ।। 3-271-4 ।।

english translation

sa tADyamAnaH parahasana bhakSayAma Asa vAnarAna panasaM ca gavAkSaM ca vajrabAhuM ca vAnarama || 3-271-4 ||
