बरूहि किं ते करॊम्य अत्र साहाय्यं पुरुषर्षभ इक्ष्वाकुर अस्मि ते जञातिर इति रामस तम अब्रवीत ॥ ३-२६७-३५ ॥
'O son of Kausalya, tell me, O bull among men, what aid I am to render thee! I too have sprung from the race of Ikshwaku and, therefore, am a relative of thine!' ॥ 3-267-35 ॥
