[वै] एवंगतेषु पार्थेषु विसृष्टे च सुयॊधने आगते हास्तिनपुरं मॊक्षिते पाण्डुनन्दनैः भीष्मॊ ऽबरवीन महाराज धार्तराष्ट्रम इदं वचः ॥ ३-२४१-३ ॥
'Vaisampayana said, "O mighty king, when the Pāṇḍavas had thus departed, leaving Suyodhana behind, and when he, having been freed by the sons of Pāṇḍu, returned to Hastinapura, Bhīṣma spoke these words to the son of Dhṛtarāṣṭra."' ॥ 3-241-3 ॥
