दुःशासनादयश चास्य भरातरः सर्व एव ते भूरिश्रवाः सॊमदत्तॊ महाराजश च बाह्लिकः ॥ ३-२४०-४६ ॥
'And all his brothers, led by Duḥśāsana, along with Bhūriśravā, Somadatta, and the mighty king Bāhlika, followed that lion among kings.' ॥ 3-240-46 ॥

रथैर नानाविधाकारैर हयैर गजवरैस तथा परयान्तं नृप सिंहं तम अनुजग्मुः कुरूद्वहाः कालेनाल्पेन राजंस ते विविशुः सवपुरं तदा ॥ ३-२४०-४७ ॥
'They advanced with chariots of various designs, swift horses, and the finest elephants. O foremost of monarchs, in a short time, those scions of the Kuru race entered their own city.' ॥ 3-240-47 ॥
