अकार्षीः साहसम इदं कस्मात परायॊपवेशनम आत्मत्यागी हय अवाग याति वाच्यतां चायशस्करीम ॥ ३-२४०-२ ॥

'Why, then, have you undertaken such a reckless act as the vow of starvation? One who takes his own life falls into the depths of hell and becomes the subject of scorn and reproach.' ॥ 3-240-2 ॥

akArSIH sAhasama idaM kasmAta parAyòpavezanama AtmatyAgI haya avAga yAti vAcyatAM cAyazaskarIma ॥ 3-240-2 ॥
