अथ सर्वे रणं मुक्त्वा परयाताः खचरा दिवम अस्मान एवाभिकर्षन्तॊ दीनान मुदितमानसाः ॥ ३-२३७-११ ॥
'Then the Gandharvas, abandoning the fight, fled through the sky, dragging our sorrowful selves along with them, filled with joy.' ॥ 3-237-11 ॥

atha sarve raNaM muktvA parayAtAH khacarA divama asmAna evAbhikarSantò dInAna muditamAnasAH ॥ 3-237-11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततः समन्तात पश्यामि शरजालेन वेष्टितम अमानुषाणि चास्त्राणि परयुञ्जानं धनंजयम ॥ ३-२३७-१२ ॥
'We then saw a network of arrows spread all around by Dhananjaya, who was also launching celestial weapons at the enemy.' ॥ 3-237-12 ॥

tataH samantAta pazyAmi zarajAlena veSTitama amAnuSANi cAstrANi parayuJjAnaM dhanaMjayama ॥ 3-237-12 ॥

'Upon seeing the horizons covered by Arjuna with a dense network of sharp arrows, his friend, the chief of the Gandharvas, revealed himself.' ॥ 3-237-13 ॥

samAvRtA dizò deSTvA pANDavena zitaiH zaraiH dhanaMjaya sakhAtmAnaM darzayAma Asa vai tadA ॥ 3-237-13 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptचित्रसेनः पाण्डवेन समाश्लिष्य परंतपः कुशलं परिपप्रच्छ तैः पृष्टश चाप्य अनामयम ॥ ३-२३७-१४ ॥
'Chitrasena and Arjuna, embracing each other, inquired about each other's welfare. The other sons of Pandu also embraced the chief of the Gandharvas and were embraced by him, exchanging courteous enquiries.' ॥ 3-237-14 ॥

citrasenaH pANDavena samAzliSya paraMtapaH kuzalaM paripapraccha taiH pRSTaza cApya anAmayama ॥ 3-237-14 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptते समेत्य तथान्यॊन्यं संनाहान विप्रमुच्य च एकीभूतास ततॊ वीरा गन्धर्वाः सह पाण्डवैः अपूजयेताम अन्यॊन्यं चित्रसेन धनंजयौ ॥ ३-२३७-१५ ॥
'The brave Gandharvas, then laying aside their weapons and armor, mingled in a friendly spirit with the Pandavas. Chitrasena and Dhananjaya, with mutual respect, worshipped each other.' ॥ 3-237-15 ॥

te sametya tathAnyònyaM saMnAhAna vipramucya ca ekIbhUtAsa tatò vIrA gandharvAH saha pANDavaiH apUjayetAma anyònyaM citrasena dhanaMjayau ॥ 3-237-15 ॥
