विचुम्य पथि यानानि देशे सुयवसॊदके संनिविष्टः शुभे रम्ये भूमिभागे यथेप्सितम हस्त्यश्वरथपातातं यथास्थानं नयवेशयत ॥ ३-२३६-७ ॥

'Along the way in a region that abounded in grass and water, the king encamped on a delightful piece of ground as pleased him best, with his elephants, chariots, cavalry, and infantry stationed all around.' ॥ 3-236-7 ॥

vicumya pathi yAnAni deze suyavasòdake saMniviSTaH zubhe ramye bhUmibhAge yathepsitama hastyazvarathapAtAtaM yathAsthAnaM nayavezayata ॥ 3-236-7 ॥
