गणैर अप्सरसां चैव तरिदशानां तथात्मजैः विहारशीलः करीडार्थं तेन तत संवृतं सरः ।। ३-२२९-२० ।।

sanskrit

'And the king of the Gandharvas had been accompanied by the various tribes of Apsaras, as well as the sons of the celestials. Intent on sport, he had come to that place for merriment, and having occupied it, he had closed it off to all others.' ।। 3-229-20 ।।

english translation

gaNaira apsarasAM caiva taridazAnAM tathAtmajaiH vihArazIlaH karIDArthaM tena tata saMvRtaM saraH || 3-229-20 ||
