सकन्दस्य य इदं जन्म पठते सुसमाहितः स पुष्टिम इह संप्राप्य सकन्द सालॊक्यताम इयात ॥ ३-२२१-८० ॥

'The Brahmana who, with due attention, reads this account of the birth of Skanda will attain great prosperity in this world and the companionship of Skanda in the hereafter.' ॥ 3-221-80 ॥

english translation

sakandasya ya idaM janma paThate susamAhitaH sa puSTima iha saMprApya sakanda sAlòkyatAma iyAta ॥ 3-221-80 ॥
