सकन्दस्य य इदं जन्म पठते सुसमाहितः स पुष्टिम इह संप्राप्य सकन्द सालॊक्यताम इयात ।। ३-२२१-८० ।।

'The Brahmana who, with due attention, reads this account of the birth of Skanda will attain great prosperity in this world and the companionship of Skanda in the hereafter.' ।। 3-221-80 ।।

english translation

sakandasya ya idaM janma paThate susamAhitaH sa puSTima iha saMprApya sakanda sAlòkyatAma iyAta || 3-221-80 ||
