तान आशुगैर आपततॊ ऽहम आशु; निवार्य तूर्णं खगमान ख एव दविधा तरिधा चाच्छिनम आशु मुखैस; ततॊ ऽनतरिक्षे निनदॊ बभूव ।। ३-२२-३ ।।

sanskrit

'Those swiftly falling (arrows), I quickly Warded off, and the fast-flying ones in the sky itself I swiftly cut into two or three pieces with my arrow-heads; Then a great sound arose in the sky.' ।। 3-22-3 ।।

english translation

tAna Azugaira Apatatò 'hama Azu; nivArya tUrNaM khagamAna kha eva davidhA taridhA cAcchinama Azu mukhaisa; tatò 'natarikSe ninadò babhUva || 3-22-3 ||
