अपूजयन महात्मानॊ बराह्मणास तं महाबलम इदम आहुस तदा चैव सकन्दं तत्र महर्षयः ।। ३-२१८-५ ।।

sanskrit

'The high-minded Brahmanas worshipped that mighty being, and the great Rishis, in turn, spoke to Skanda: "O thou born from the golden egg, may prosperity be thine, and may you become a force for good in the universe!"' ।। 3-218-5 ।।

english translation

apUjayana mahAtmAnò barAhmaNAsa taM mahAbalama idama Ahusa tadA caiva sakandaM tatra maharSayaH || 3-218-5 ||
