ऊर्जः करान हव्यवाहान सुवर्णसदृशप्रभान अग्निस तपॊ हय अजनयत पञ्च यज्ञसुतान इह ॥ ३-२११-६ ॥
'The powerful Agni, whose brilliance is like golden radiance, begot five sacrificial sons through his tapas (spiritual energy).' ॥ 3-211-6 ॥
english translation
परशान्ते ऽगनिर महाभाग परिश्रन्तॊ गवां पतिः असुराञ जनयन घॊरान मर्त्यांश चैव पृथग्विधान ॥ ३-२११-७ ॥
'The great Sun-god, when fatigued after his day's labors, is known as the Prasanta fire. He created the terrible Asuras and various other creatures of the earth.' ॥ 3-211-7 ॥
english translation
तपसश च मनुं पुत्रं भानुं चाप्य अङ्गिरासृजत बृहद्भानुं तु तं पराहुर बराह्मणा वेदपारगाः ॥ ३-२११-८ ॥
'Angiras also created Prajapati Bhanu, the son of Tapa. He is also called Vrihadbhanu (the great Bhanu) by the Brahmanas learned in the Vedas.' ॥ 3-211-8 ॥

भानॊर भार्या सुप्रजा तु बृहद्भासा तु सॊमजा असृजेतां तु षट पुत्राञ शृणु तासां परजा विधम ॥ ३-२११-९ ॥
'Bhanu married Supraja, and Brihadbhanu, the daughter of Surya (the Sun-god). They gave birth to six sons; listen to the story of their progeny.' ॥ 3-211-9 ॥

दुर्बलानां तु भूतानां तनुं यः संप्रयच्छति तम अग्निं बलदं पराहौः परथमं भानुतः सुतम ॥ ३-२११-१० ॥
'The fire who gives strength to the weak is called Valada (the giver of strength). He is the first son of Bhanu.' ॥ 3-211-10 ॥
