पश्यत्य अर्चिष्मती भाभिर हविर भिश च हविष्मती षष्ठम अङ्गिरसः कन्यां पुण्याम आहुर हविष्मतीम ॥ ३-२०८-६ ॥

'She sees with radiant splendor, and ॥ is॥ filled with sacred offerings, The sixth daughter of Angiras, they call the virtuous Havishmatī.' ॥ 3-208-6 ॥

pazyatya arciSmatI bhAbhira havira bhiza ca haviSmatI SaSThama aGgirasaH kanyAM puNyAma Ahura haviSmatIma ॥ 3-208-6 ॥

महामखेष्व आङ्गिरषी दीप्तिमत्सु महामती महामतीति विख्याता सप्तमी कथ्यते सुता ॥ ३-२०८-७ ॥

'Angiras's seventh daughter, known as Mahamati, is renowned for her great wisdom and brilliance, especially in the performance of grand sacrifices.' ॥ 3-208-7 ॥

यां तु दृष्ट्वा भगवतीं जनः कुहुकुहायते एकानंशेति याम आहुः कुहूम अङ्ग्निरसः सुताम ॥ ३-२०८-८ ॥

'That worshipful daughter of Angiras, whom they call unrivaled and without a portion, and about whom people utter the words "kuhu kuhu" in wonder, is known by the name of Kuhu.' ॥ 3-208-8 ॥
