तपॊनित्येन दान्तेन मुनिना संतयात्मना अजितं जेतुकामेन भाव्यं सङ्गेष्व असङ्गिना ।। ३-२०३-४८ ।।

sanskrit

'The sage (muni) who seeks to attain moksha, which is difficult to achieve, must persist in austerities, practice patience, exercise self-control, and relinquish the attachment that binds them to the earthly things.' ।। 3-203-48 ।।

english translation

tapònityena dAntena muninA saMtayAtmanA ajitaM jetukAmena bhAvyaM saGgeSva asaGginA || 3-203-48 ||
