अपानॊदानयॊर मध्ये पराणव्यानौ समाहितौ समन्वितस तव अधिष्ठानं सम्यक पचति पावकः ॥ ३-२०३-२३ ॥
'The Prāṇa and Apāna airs are interposed within the Samāna and Udāna airs. The heat generated by their combination fosters the growth of the body, which consists of the seven substances, including bones, muscles, and so on.' ॥ 3-203-23 ॥
